Timesheet Allocations - Multiple Sites in a Day + Job Allocations without rostering

Sometimes working on multiple jobsites in a day, the application doesn't seem to let multiple timesheet entries in a day to be able to separate the allocation to different sites.

We don't use rosters for this reason also but the team have been needing to write in the notes the information rather than being able to put it directly in which again adds work/time to this process.

Is there a solution for this or is it a flaw in the app?

Thanks

    Hi bc11

I am looking at using timesheets too and would like the exact feature you are asking.

I havent looked at the app as yet.

do you have to make more than one location or will it location stamp it

    Thanks

      Hi bc11 and C-E

This is both a yes and no question. From the conversation, it looks like bc11 you are using the MYOB Team App and C-E you are using the Payroll > Timesheets window on AccountRight.

So yes it is possible to separate the hours between locations, not through the App, but you can do it with Jobs, through the AccountRight software.

The reason for this is locations on the Team app is to allow the software to verify submitted geolocations against the location of the business. For this reason, when you submit hours that is sent to the software, the timesheets locations are not separated as it is only checking the total hours in a day for a category.

The second part is that you can separate the location using Jobs on Timesheets, on AccountRight (Payroll > Timesheets). You would create a job for each location, then open the approved timesheet and edit it to split the hours between the 2 jobs. For more details on using Jobs see our Help Article: Jobs.

        Hi SamaraM

Yes that is sort of what we are wanting to do but we would like a combine of the two.

So our staff can start on a site and then go to another and clock on and off in one day

Is there ways they can write what they ahve completed in the teams feature?

We have a construction business and use the jobs to allocate hours and trying to save on double handling.

If they would attend a job and start and finish there it would be great.

        Thanks
