Variance in Payroll Register v Activity Reports
Morning All
Reconcilling my YE for STP and Payroll Tax I have a variance in my Payroll Regiser Report and Payroll Activity Report and don't understand why. I have norrowed it down to a single employee and attached copy of reports FYI. It's in his base hourly total.
The Payroll register agrees to what has been reported to the ATO but obvously is wrong as it has not picked up his base hourly total. All other payroll categories are correct.
I have done a zero pay for him and resent to ATO to do an updated event but getting same result and no changes to MYOB reports.
thankyou I ended up working it out. once I realised 1 report was card history and the other actual transaction, I was able to google the right question and AI and the below link helped me fix it.
