AccountRight – Why can I no longer back up my company file to my computer?

I am starting a new thread as the previous query about this is marked as resolved when the resolution is no longer available to us   We can no longer save the company file backups to a local comput...

Is there a resolution to this or are we at the mercy of the MYOB? Its our data, and we have the right to backup the file has we choose.. We should be not be dictated how we should run our business.. Very bad form MYOB..

    Hi pmb25, 

     

    I understand your concern about having control over your own backups. Local backups are no longer available for online company files in newer versions of AccountRight.

     

    You can still create manual online backups, but they stay in MYOB and can’t be downloaded to your computer or USB. Automatic online backups are also available.

     

    If you have an older offline backup, AccountRight Server Edition may let you access it locally.
