Accountright Server Edition effectively not available as of 1/7/2026
Anyone else tried to login to Accountright SE this morning to find you can no longer access your data? Again we are victims of MYOBs development and non communication. So you want the short answer? Read On... or the long answer? Thats a little further down.
Short Answer.
As of this morning MYOB released Accountright v 2026.500.10023. Dont waste time trying to reconnect to your online data file. Download Accountright PC version, install on every single login/desktop requiring your previous SE deployment. login. all should work.
Long Answer
- If you want to use SE version no problem!
- use the updated version, use the nifty new tool to locate your new local data file library
- SE 500.10023 even allows local backup again..!! wow the future is bright!
- mmmmm but wait a moment.... didnt myob force us to locate data files online several months ago?
- and then after that they started forcing online backup - no local backup possible.
- daymn yes they did too. so no sweat, login to online version to download a copy of our current data file.
- where the heck is the data file detail?? download button??? are you joking? to be so considerate of customers would stain MYOB's reputation!
- every SE user has just been burnt by MYOB. you cannot download online data files, and you certainly wont have a usable backup you can roll back to. the apparent solution provided by Gemini is to download all the csv's and import them to create a new data file
- ?? MYOBs has a reliable history of being horrendous on comms, but this takes the cake, icing and all.
