Adding a file to a company

Absolutely, I can walk you through how to upload a file to your father's company. If you're adding a company file to his company, open the AccountRight welcome window > Open a company file > My library > Select Add a company file. If you're uploading the file online, just highlight the company file from the library and select Go online (upload this file). For more info, check out this article.

Hi there,

I am trying to upload another file with the same serial#, the first I uploaded was successful which I paid the subscription. However, the second file with the same serial is asking me to subscribe.

Please I need guidance on this asap.

That's a tricky one! If you’re using AccountRight Premier, you can have up to two online company files under the one subscription and serial number. So if this is only your second file, you generally shouldn’t need to buy another subscription. If MYOB is still asking you to subscribe when you upload the second file, it usually means the second cloud entitlement on the serial may already be in use, or it hasn’t been linked correctly yet.
