Authorising Uploaded Invoices

Hi All

We have a new bookkeeper who has started to upload all of our purchases invoices into MYOB. The General Manager is very old school, we used to have a stamp and he would physically sign off on any invoices before they were entered in MYOB . We are trying to get him to change with the times, but he is having trouble knowing which invoices he has seen and is OK paying. Is there a way where he can digitally "sign off" on the invoices when he views them in MYOB? I've heard this is an option in Xero, but I haven't been able to find it in MYOB.

Any help would be very appreciated.

Regards

Justin

    Hi Jmonty06,

Thanks for your detailed post! At the moment, AccountRight doesn’t have a built-in approval stage where users can digitally “sign off” on invoices when viewing them. However, you can link an In Tray document to a purchase, it’s automatically removed from the In Tray. The document is then stored with the bill, and you’ll see an attachment icon on the Bills list , you can open it anytime to view the attached invoice.

If you’d like to see an approval feature added in the future, you can share this idea on our Product Ideas page. Our developers review these suggestions regularly, and it might be something they include in a future update.

    Regards,
    Earl
