Moving windows within Myob using a mouse is glitching.

Is anyone else experiencing a change with the mouse functionality and ability to move windows within Myob?
When the mouse arrow is a 'single headed' arrow, I can use it to move a window around (not resizing). Initially this is what happens but at some stage, the mouse arrow becomes a two headed arrow and I'm unable to move the window, so that I can see windows side by side. The two headed arrow can resize the window across and down by moving the mouse but cannot move a window. As a result, windows sit on top of each other and some are inaccessible if they're right behind another window. I have to close windows to get to the one that I want or open it again via the Command Centre. To fix this glitch, I have to exit Myob and reopen.

  • Hey CarolDuncan

Can you please send me a private message confirming your serial number, a screenshot of what you see  when you're unable to move/resize a window with the cursor in shot and also a screenshot of your version build (available if you click Help > About MYOB AccountRight in the top file menu). I'll make sure to follow up on this one for you.

Hi AmandaMYOB - I will do as soon as it happens. I tried to take a screenshot of it for the original post but couldn't do so without losing the cursor and what it was doing - I will take a photo of the screen when it happens again. At the moment I'm unable to replicate the problem but it has happened in a few separate sessions over the last few weeks.

    Hey CarolDuncan

Thanks for the update. We deployed a patch release last week to address some of the display issues users were experiencing so hopefully that's helped. If it happens again, reach out with some screenshots and we can take a deeper look!

    Hi AmandaMYOB
We've resolved this issue. Myob functions properly on my default main screen but not if I move it to a  secondary screen - so apparently it is a combination of the old frame tech used in the Myob desktop app and my high dpi screens. Until MYOB updates the desktop app with a more current frame, this will continue to happen.

  • Hi MYOB, I'm just lately experiencing this exact issue - mainly with the Purchases - New Service window.  Is this a known issue again & will there be a fix?

    Hi Simdd
If you're using dual screens, try moving the whole MYOB app across to the other screen. It works for me :-)
