On boarding a new client

Problem > I have not used MYOB for 10 years, and have setup Partner program and Accounting Right Plus and want to access a New Clients records. I have been invited her end.

 So far I have learned MYOB can do all that is required technically, but not this stage of accessing  and setting up access to clients MYOB record

    Hi silverbooktax,

     

    Thanks for posting, and welcome back to MYOB after around 10 years away. No worries at all, we’re glad to have you back. If your client has already sent you an invite, the main thing to check is that you’ve accepted it using the same email address linked to your MYOB login. Once that’s done, you should be able to access the client file if the access has been set up correctly on their end.

    If you’ve already accepted the invite and still can’t get in, I’d recommend asking the client to double-check your user access and confirm that the email address they invited is the exact one you’re signing in with.     Is the invite coming from the client or thru MYOB? I checked with the client yesterday and she confirmed the invite was sent to my email address, and there is no Trash/ spam items in my email.

    Hi silverbooktax,

     

    The invite is sent through MYOB, but it’s triggered by the client from their side. If the client has confirmed they sent it and there’s nothing in Trash/Spam, it’d be worth getting them to send the invite again and double-check the email address it was sent to. If it still doesn’t come through after that, it’d be best to reach out to our team so they can check what’s going on with the invite. You can contact them on Live Chat via our virtual assistant, MOCA, or by submitting a support case via My Account.
