Thanks for the details. That message "Unable to locate service type with company file" is a bit of a stubborn one. It usually pops up when the file isn't quite matching up with the company file service in your library, or there's a hiccup during the restore process. A few things you can try that often get it sorted:
- Make sure you're restoring the backup into the same MYOB environment/library it originally came from
- Double-check you're signed into the correct account/user that has access to that company file
- Try logging out and back in, then give the restore another go
- Clearing the AccountRight cache. Cached data can sometimes hang onto old file connections and cause this exact error
