My apologies for the late response. The General Ledger report pulls information from the Notes field in transactions. If you're looking for specific descriptions for each line, you'll have to click into the Ref No. of the respective transaction to view that information. Unfortunately, the General Ledger Details report doesn't display individual description information.

Previously when running a General Ledger report in the browser the allocation memo has showed in the "line description", but now the only entries in the "line description" column are from Spend Money of Receive Money. None of the comments from General Journals are showing up anymore.
They are still showing up on General Ledger report from the desktop app.

We are currently aware of an issue where the line description column in reports, spend and receive money, and payment transactions does not populate as expected. The current workaround is to open the transactions individually to check the line descriptions.
We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused while our team is working on a fix.
