Workers compensation faulty report

Hi I tried Workers compensation report when it just came out as new. It didn't work. You had to enter all data manually so was no point for me to do it in excel and in MYOB. Now I tried again to maybe could use next year and to have historical data. All better, had some numbers from last year but couldn't generate due to address lacking in Suburb, State and Post Code. It takes this data automatically from business settings but as normal in MYOB no one checked how the data is stored in there first. It is in single text, all together, not Suburb, State and Post Code separately. I did put the correct data into report but there is no way to save changes. The button there is no clickable. No errors in other fields. Without that of course "generate report" button also unclickable as has issues with the address. It is so annoying. Who needs to look for 6 months at the useless tag NEW at the reports when the report is not usable at all? We pay so much for MYOB and still need to use excel for such simple things.

    Hi Genreve_S

I'm not sure that you DO get where ZuluBula is coming from.  The problem now is that the business address can't be updated because there is no way to save edits, therefore, the report can't be produced.  It seems to be because the data source for address on the report is a single field, rather than multiple fields for street, city/suburb, state and postcode.

    Hi everyone,

Totally get where you’re coming from.

The Workers' Compensation report is meant to pull totals from your payroll for the date range you pick, then let you tweak the amounts for your insurer. You shouldn’t have to key everything in from scratch.

If you’re running it over dates where you’ve definitely processed pays and it’s still basically blank or making you type it all, that’s not expected. The best next step is to either:

More on how it’s meant to work is here:

    Regards,

  • I'm having the same problem! I've been trying to use this report for some time but MYOB STILL haven't fixed the report.
