Hi BronwynHamster,
That’s definitely a tricky one, especially when it only happens at random. We’ve tried to replicate this on our end and couldn’t reproduce the same issue. It may be related to cached data in the software, so I’d recommend clearing your AccountRight cache, as this often resolves these kinds of discrepancies. Clearing the AccountRight cache

Thanks Earl!
Good advice but didn't fix the issue.

Hi Earl,
Further to our chat I can confirm Purchase entry does not return to the menu if using a reoccurring transaction.

Hi BronwynHamster,
It’s a bit hard for us to see exactly what’s happening without more info or a screenshot, but it does sound like this is how AccountRight is designed to work. In the meantime, here’s a link that walks through how to record a recurring transaction, which might help clear things up on your end. If you’re able to send through a few more details (or screenshots), especially if something looks off, our team will be happy to dig into it further for you.
Cheers,
Princess

Hi Princess,
I was giving Earl an update on a prior post. Not sure why MYOB would be designed to kick one out of purchase entry or spend money entry every time there is a transaction when you upload a pdf attachment. Doesn't matter whether the attachment is uploaded at the beginning, middle or final before record is hit. Incredibly annoying, especially when one is posting multiple spend money transactions from an account that is not the standard bank account selected.
This does not occur when posting purchases using reoccurring transactions. Have already lodged a support ticket in the hope this programming error will be fixed.
Cheers, Bronwyn
