ARL Purchases and Spend Money
Why does MYOB kick us out of, back to menu, Spend Money and Purchases when we attach a document? Very, very annoying.

Further to our chat I can confirm Purchase entry does not return to the menu if using a reoccurring transaction.

It’s a bit hard for us to see exactly what’s happening without more info or a screenshot, but it does sound like this is how AccountRight is designed to work. In the meantime, here’s a link that walks through how to record a recurring transaction, which might help clear things up on your end. I was giving Earl an update on a prior post. Not sure why MYOB would be designed to kick one out of purchase entry or spend money entry every time there is a transaction when you upload a pdf attachment. Doesn't matter whether the attachment is uploaded at the beginning, middle or final before record is hit. Incredibly annoying, especially when one is posting multiple spend money transactions from an account that is not the standard bank account selected.
This does not occur when posting purchases using reoccurring transactions. Have already lodged a support ticket in the hope this programming error will be fixed.

So, five months, aka 3-5 MYOB releases, we still have the issue with attaching documents to purchases or spend money transactions and MYOB kicking you back to the menu, rather than staying in invoice or spend money processing screen. This does not happen when using a reoccurring transaction. But one can't have reoccurring transactions setup for all expenditure. This is such a waste of time. MYOB please fix this bug!
