Westpac Business Credit Cards no longer supported - bankfeed

I have just been told by a Westpac on the phone that MYOB is no longer supported for credit card bankfeeds.

Anyone else know about this?

I asked someone today at Westpac in business banking as I am having an issue with bank feeds on my cheque account not showing - and he said that they are supporting business credit cards and checked for any updates/memos while I was on the phone - said he couldn't see anything saying they were discontinuing.

    Hi Edwina

Thanks for clarifying this from the bank! From what I understand, it is the Westpac personal credit cards that we don't support. For more info, please check out this Help article: Connecting a Westpac account to MYOB.

Feel free to get in touch if there's anything else I can assist you with.

    Cheers,

    Princess

I am still receiving feeds for an older credit card and the main card account.  We have a newer card that cant be set up for bank feeds, is there a solution?

    Hi Gmac2016

That does sound like you’re in a pickle. What you’re seeing is normal for some banks, replacement or extra cards keep feeding under the main/billing account, often showing the primary card’s last 4 digits.

If you just want it to stop, you could do the following steps:

    • Cancel the main/billing account feed that’s still sending data, so no further credit card transactions flow into MYOB.
    • If you need the bank feeds for a date range removed from your system, you can reach out to our support team via My Account or live chat through MOCA.
    • You can also import statements for the credit card if you need it for reconciliation purposes.

That should stop the bank feed from feeding through the old account.

    Regards,
    Genreve

    Hi Genreve,

Importing statements might be a reasonable workaround, I will give that a try.

Is it MYOB or Westpac that preventing new cards working like the old ones do?

I am frustrated that something that worked fine no longer works for new cards.

    Regards,

    Glenn
