Budget export & import
I use AccountRight and cannot find a budget export or import function. All online info says it must be entered manually. Surely this can't be correct. Is it?

It's quite unusual that you cannot find the Import/Export function in AccountRight. You do not have to enter budgets manually, import/export is supported, especially in the desktop version.
