Can't Export any reports to excel :(

Hi,

I have followed the instructions provided by MYOB for exporting reports to excel, 

however each and everytime I try to export anything NOTHING happens.......it does't even open up excel.  I get the little timer icon on the mouse pointer, but nothing eventuates.  Extremely frustating to try and do my job without this function

 

Has any one else experienced this and does anyone know how to fix?

    Thanks for your post and welcome to the Community Forum ! If you're still experiencing this can you please retrieve the AccountRight diagnostic log after you've attempted to export to excel and attach it as a .TXT file to this thread so I can investigate.

        Thanks for attaching the error log. I can see that you're experiencing an Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel._Application error. Generally this error means that when a program such as AccountRight asks which version of Excel is installed, the wrong version is being reported back, causing a communication problem and errors between the programs.

         

        This can happen when different versions of Office/Excel may have been previously installed on the computer, and components/values are left behind. This type of error can be fixed by one one of the following:
