How risky is your AccountRight import process? Free 3-minute assessment + research
Hi all,
I’ve been looking into the risks around CSV, spreadsheet and bulk-data imports into AccountRight - particularly where a bad import can create hours of manual repair, duplicate data, incorrect pricing, billing problems or changes that are difficult to reverse.
I’ve built a small free AccountRight Import Risk Check to help quantify that exposure.
It takes about 3 minutes, gives you the result immediately, and doesn’t require an email address.
The assessment looks at six areas:
- consequence if an import goes wrong
- reversibility
- import frequency
- size and complexity of the change
- existing controls
- recovery difficulty
I’m also collecting optional, consent-based research after the result to understand which AccountRight import workflows are actually causing problems in practice.
I’m especially interested in people who regularly import items/pricing, invoices, journals, customers, inventory or other bulk data.

This is independent research and isn’t affiliated with MYOB. There is nothing for sale in the assessment - at this stage I’m trying to establish where the real problems are before building anything around them.
I’d also be interested to hear here: what AccountRight import or bulk-update process makes you most nervous, and why?
