Import General Journal file

Has anyone been able to import General Journal file in AccountRight PLUS AU 2024.5.0 Build 2024.5.1.7

I cannot import any General Journal file in AccountRight via import.

The field have changed and are different to the export file from the same system.

General journal fields for import

Missing fields ----

Is Credit
Is year-End Adjustment
Currency Code
Exchange Rate

Changed  -----

GST (BAS) Reporting - changed to
GST [BAS] Reporting. From ( ) to [ ].

NEW Fields -----

Debit Ex-tax Amounts
Debit Inc-Tax Amounts
Credit Ex-tax Amounts
Credit Inc-Tax Amounts
Non-GST/LCT Amount
LCT Amount.
Import Duty Amount.

I think this is an incorrect link in MYOB.   (more for some shipping import than general journal).

I have raised this with MYOB support, but I have not got any answers except a link http://help.myob.com/wiki/x/8YFk showing what the fields should be that are now missing.

When I contacted support again - this was a system update.

Sorry the required field for General Journal -

Is year-End Adjustment
Currency Code
Exchange Rate , are missing.

This was working up to 07/06/2024 with no problem and I cannot process/load my journals in MYOB.

Could not be a better timing EOFY.

Is someone else have the same problem?  Can someone please assist?

Thank you.

Hi nmicallef , does your import file have a pair of curly braces like {} in row 1, and nothing else?

I think AccountRight is presenting import fields designed for version 19. The braces indicate that the current version is required.

If not, add a row with braces. Then try again.
