IMS GL export to AccountRight not connecting

I keep getting an error message saying IMS is unable to connect to MYOB AccountRight.  Please check that you have access to your network and that your MYOB AR instance is functioning.

 

I received this same message 2 years ago and it took IMS 10 months to fix and now its come up again. The only solution support has given me so far is to enter my journal manually which I do not want to do as it adds hours onto my payroll processing. This will be the 3rd time this has happened.

Does anyone have any solutions or ideas as to why this keeps happening?

Both IMS and AccountRight are working fine on their own.

    Hi RebeccaNWG,

     

    That does sound like a lot to deal with, especially with how often it’s happening and the extra time it’s adding to your payroll. Definitely not where we’d want things to be. If IMS and AccountRight are both working fine separately, it usually means there’s something going on with the connection between them. I’d suggest reaching out to the IMS support team first so they can check why it’s not exporting. After that, you could try turning off category tracking in AccountRight from your preferences and then attempt the export again. I’ve seen that help in some cases, but hopefully other community members can jump in and share what’s worked for them too.
