What about the local backup files?

I am using Acountright plus 2026.2.1.5

Suddenly I can not create a local backup file??? So how can I make use of AddonConnector and e.g. browse data in a webbrowser or link with my software, which I have been using for more then 12 years? I really hope that I am missing something here. And why has there been no warning about this new "feature" ? Is this how you support long time customers? Ranting a  bit here because my tax return is due in 1 month and I need this feature.
