Open banking & MyCard/NAB credit cards

Hi,

NAB has now rebranded Citibank credit cards to MyCard.  However, I can’t see MyCard in the list of available providers for open banking.  According to MyCard/NAB, they are set up for this feature.  Is there a timeframe for when Myob will be compatible for open banking for MyCard branded NAB Credit Cards?

Thank you.

  • It was worth a shot!

I bring good news though, our Open Banking team jumped right into it and refreshed the list, so you should be able to find MyCard on there now 😄 Go ahead and give that a try and let me know how you go!

    Hi Bargara1 !

I just had a look at the list on Solo, and can see MyCard listed on there, but I had a quick look at your account and it sounds like you might have MYOB Business Lite instead of Solo.

If that's the case, then not to worry! My buddies over here will be able to take a look at this and see what they can do! They are the experts on all things Business Lite so will be able to give some solid advice.

  • I have looked on the list and MyCard is NOT on the bank feed list.

I also have a similar problem - we have been changed from Suncorp credit cards to MyCard.  The worst issue is that MyCard don't have an option to download statements in QIF format, which I could do with Suncorp.  I have tried to set up bank feeds, but got a reply from MYOB that our cards are Citibank and MYOB does not offer bank feeds from them.  I have just looked at the bank feed list and MyCard is not on the list.  I am devastated to think that I may have to spend days and weeks manually entering every transaction, where previously, I could use a bank feed or upload a QIF statement direct to MYOB.  MyCard do offer CSV statement downloads - why can't we upload a CSV statement to MYOB?  Any help would be much appreciated.

  • Great news Sigrid.  Appreciate your help with this and please thank the Open Banking team on my behalf.

I can confirm that I’ve been able to link this account to Solo now.

Thanks Sigrid.  I’ll wait to hear back from you.

I did try Citibank, but I understandably get an error when it tries to connect to Citi to setup the Open Banking.

    Ah, the plot thickens!

I am checking in with our Open Banking experts to see if they have more info, I'll keep you updated here as soon as I have the deets.

In the meantime, have you tried choosing Citi? Just in case it's slotted under there now. Where certain bank brands and products sit can be a bit of labyrinth, so it's worth checking all doors!

    Hi Sigrid,

If I use NAB as the provider, I’m only able to see my NAB transaction account and not the MyCard credit card.

As background, NAB have set up a different portal for MyCard which uses a different user ID and login to my NAB account.

Any other ideas I could try?

Thanks for your help so far.

  • Hi rkingston

Since NAB is the issuer of the card, you’ll generally just need to select NAB as the provider during the setup process.

If your MyCard doesn’t show up, there can be a few reasons, but the most common one is that internet banking with NAB needs to be set up first so the data can be shared.

Give it a go by choosing NAB as your provider and see if that does the trick. Just let me know if you run into any trouble and I'll jump right back in!
