OTP not coming through

Hey everyone,

I’m trying to connect my bank account to Connected Accounts, and it’s asking for an OTP, but I’m not getting one. I've tried resending it, restarting the app, and still nothing.

Is this a Solo issue, or is my bank just being difficult? Anyone else run into this? Kinda stuck here, so any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

  • Hey there!

Ugh, OTP issues are the worst. 😩 This one’s completely on your bank’s side—Solo doesn’t handle OTPs, so we don’t have any control over when or how they’re sent.

One-time passwords (OTPs) are those short security codes your bank sends to verify it’s really you before approving certain transactions or logins. When you request an OTP, your bank generates and sends it via SMS, email, or their app. If it’s not coming through, it’s not because Solo blocked it (trust me, not even Solo has that kind of power!). It’s a direct exchange between you and your bank, and sometimes, things don’t go as smoothly as they should.

    A few things to check:
Make sure your bank has your correct phone number and email on file
Check for any delays or extra security steps your bank might have in place

Still nothing? Reach out to your bank directly. If the first person you speak to isn’t helpful, ask for higher-level support or escalate the issue—they’re the only ones who can get it sorted.

I know it’s a pain, and if we could fix it for you, we absolutely would! Let us know how you go. 🚀
