14/04 Bank Feed delays ANZ (AU) and Bank of Sydney

Hi all,

We have not received bank feeds yet from ANZ (for Australian customers) and from Bank of Sydney.

This will cause some delay in having transactions updated in customer files.

We will work with the institutions to get this data asap and have it sent to your files.

Regards, Mike

Hi Alli24 , thanks for connecting with us on the forum.
Please review the frequency post for more info on how and when your data will get to your file.

    Notably this section:

"Please also note, the time the data is sent to your file may change day to day.
We work hard to ensure that the data is sent as early as possible in the day, but there are variables at play such as what time we receive the data from the bank and how large the files are.

    • Please allow a full business day for transactions to appear before making a support ticket or reaching out here on the forum for an update."
  • Our Bank Feed from Westpac has not updated since Saturday 9 May.  Is there a known problem with Westpac bank feeds?

    Hi Kirra27,

If you’re with CBA or NAB, there aren’t any reported bank feed delays for those banks right now. A handy place to keep an eye on things is the bank feed frequency post, as that shows how feeds normally land. It’s also worth keeping in mind that the time your data arrives can shift a bit from day to day. That depends on things like when we receive the file from the bank and how large that day’s file is, so some days it can land earlier and some days a little later. Best bet is to allow a full business day for the transactions to appear before raising a support ticket or posting for an update.

    Cheers,

    Doreen

Hi tbaalham - really appreciate that you have checked the frequency details first.

    **Edited response**
If you have transactions from the 15th this would align with the data frequency for ANZ
Tues to Sat are the delivery days, and these are always for the previous days transactions.

So the bank feeds on Saturday 16th, were the transactions from Friday 15th.
Then todays bankfeeds on Tuesday, will cover the Sat/Sun/Mon transactions.

There is no notification about delays for ANZ today yet, so I would expect this all to update soon for you

    Hi DamoCoz,
The TL:DR is that each bank is required to send a massive file of transactions for all of there customers who have bank feeds enabled with MYOB.
This file then needs to be processed and the transaction data triaged and sent through to customers files.
There have been 1 or 2 rare instances where delays have occured because of MYOB systems, in most cases, the banks do not send their data through to us which causes delays.

The good news is that open banking is coming this year, you can connect your bank account for real time updates once this is available.

  • Mike the BNZ bank feed is not coming through as of 19 May.  There is no issue on BNZ's side and I have created a ticket with support but as always the promised email has not arrived and the issue is not fixed.  What is the next step here??

DamoCoz I couldnt agree more.  Empty promises, well meaning but ultimately useless support line and no action!  Endless apologies and increases in fees.  What are we paying for?

HI Migrationexpert , we still have no known delay for BNZ and there are (currently) no other complaints on the community forum for delays. It will definitely be best to have your individual situation looked at by support. You can call or chat if you want urgent help rather than waiting for your case.
