Thanks for the screenshot and details of the situation. If the Chart of Accounts is showing $32,380, but the Balance Sheet, General Ledger, and bank rec screen all show $0 with no transactions, then something doesn’t line up in the file. It looks more like the file is out of sync than a normal transaction you can clear yourself. Since the account still looks like it has a balance, it won’t let you delete it from the CoA yet. The best next step is to reach out to our team so they can check what’s sitting behind that account balance and help get it cleared. Once that hidden balance is sorted, you should be able to delete the category. You can contact them on Live Chat via our virtual assistant, MOCA, or by submitting a support case via My Account.
