I am having a similar issue. I need the GST to be quarterly and the PAYGW on Wages to be monthly. Why is that not an option?
Thanks

Is there any update on this? It's ridiculous that MYOB won't allow the GST to be quarterly and the PAYG monthly. How is this not possible?

Hi AmyG1,
Thank you for your post. I understand that it's frustrating when it's not possible to set the reporting frequency for GST and PAYG Withholding in the software. I appreciate your patience and understanding on this matter.
The online activity statement dashboard will retrieve information from the ATO and show the statements you can complete. The fields available in the statements are determined by the ATO. When running the GST return report, you can filter the dates for the applicable month to reconcile the monthly activity statement. You can also select Monthly PAYG Withholding for the W1 and W2 fields to be calculated on the last month in the period if you have a quarterly BAS with monthly PAYG.
However. If you'll be changing the GST reporting period, you'll need to contact the ATO.

It is nothing to do with the ATO it is the tick box on the reporting page in myob that was not working it has since been resolved - you are not reading my p[ost correctly - nothing to do with the ATo it was myob issue

Could you provide directions to resolve this. As I still can't find any option in the settings to change the PAYGW reporting to monthly.

Hi penejane and Achaturvedi,
Thank you for reaching out. I apologize for not being able to get back to you right away. I appreciate your patience and understanding.
I'm sorry that I misunderstood the post regarding the setup for your BAS report. I've further checked this on our end, and I've found out that this is a software bug. I regret the inconvenience this may have caused. When you run your quarterly GST return report and select the reset on filters after selecting dates, the monthly PAYG withholding checkbox is grayed out.
The current workaround is to open a new tab, then try to open the Payroll Activity report and run it for the same period as you are running the GST Return report for. After this, refresh the browser tab where you're running the GST return report. The checkbox should now be visible and usable again.
Once again, thank you for your understanding.
Please let me know if you require any further assistance. I'm happy to assist.
Cheers,
Princess
