Bank - Out of Balance - after last weeks "glitch"

Hi

Has anyone else found that their bank feed bank balance is still Out of Balance for the amount of the excess bank transactions from last weeks NAB glitch?

Yes - MYOB removed the duplicate / old transactions but the Out of Balance amount has remained the same.

I thought I would leave it a few days to see if it comes right but it hasn't.

I had transactions download from 2023 - over 3000 of them so you can the concern I have in the Out of Balance amount as it is quite large.

It is also not just one bank account I have the issue with.

Am I the only one?

    I appreciate your detailed input. You’re not the only one, that NAB bank feed issue last week did cause old transactions to be resent, and we’re aware some files are still showing an Out of balance even after the duplicate/old feed lines have been removed.     Hi - I appreciate the reply.

    No where on any of the MYOB updates does it say that the Out of Balance will still be out once the transactions were removed.

    Instead it says the issue was resolved which is in fact not the case.

    It can be very frustrating when looking for info / updates on "glitches".

    Could you please update your status report to say the Out of Balance will / may still be affected - as I can not be the only person with the issue.

  • I too am having the issue with the out of balance.

    The duplicated transactions have been hidden but have not  removed.

    This could be related to the earlier issue where duplicate bank feed lines appeared and were later removed. The underlying incident has now been resolved, but those lingering out‑of‑balance figures suggest there may still be some residual data sitting behind your feeds. The best next step is for our team to take a closer look at your file and correct anything that wasn’t fully cleared.     I'm not sure submitting a ticket is the correct answer as I have submitted a few lately - and none have been replied to.

    The whole bank "glitch" has turned out to be a nightmare.

    Because of all the double transactions - MYOB has allocated payments of the same amount to Creditors in which we have paid 50% of a bill - therefore making the Bill seem at zero balance - but in fact it still has 50% owing.

    I am not the only one who is tearing their hair out with little or no response from MYOB.

    Hi - is there any end date on this fix as my bank feeds which used to balance every day when I did my daily reconciliations has now been out for weeks due to your unsolved "glitch".

    And I have submitted THREE x tickets - no answer to any of them - and we are supposed to be on "PRIORITY" service.

    All in all - not impressed at all....
