Hi jiwuwij,
Thank you for your post, and welcome to the Community Forum!
I see that you've hit a bump with missing bank feed transactions from March 29–31, 2024. Not to worry, we've got a couple of tricks up our sleeve to get this sorted!
First, let's double-check if those transactions are heading to the right account. We can easily track them down by diving into the Find Transactions window and ensuring they're on the right account. If everything is correct, I'd suggest trying out a future-dated reconciliation.
- Open Banking >> Reconcile Accounts >> Choose Account.
- Input Bank Statement Date: 31/12/9998
- Copy the calculated statement balance to the closing statement balance form box.
- Click Reconcile.
- Undo reconciliation.
By following these steps, we should be able to sniff out any sneaky missing transactions hiding in the reconcile accounts window.
Feel free to respond if you require further assistance.
Cheers,
Princess
Still not working. For example the amount missing is 200$ and I tried reconciling first as of March 28, 2024 to get the correct amount of for example 1000$ but still the amount of the missing transaction is floating or reflecting to any date so im getting 1200$. Those should be reflecting on april 2 and 3 since it was imported at that period due to the delayed statement imports encountered by MYOB.

I have reconciled my bank to 31/03/24 but when I do the Bank reconciliation report it shows some outstanding deposits and withdrawals. I tried undoing the last few reconcilliations and redoing but it is the same.
I noticed when I redid the reconciliation the outstanding transactions do not appear in the list however my balance is correct once all ticked.

Hi jiwuwij,
Thanks for your detailed response. Sometimes, this issue can occur due to a glitch in the reports. To confirm if that's the problem, could you please take a backup of the file and then follow these steps:- Check the Last Reconciled date on the Reconcile Accounts window.
- Go to Reports > Banking > Cheques and Deposits > Reconciliation Report.
- Select Advanced Filters.
- Choose Individual bank account > OK.
- Select "Change Entered Statement Date to List of Recorded Statement Dates" and Run Report.
- Click on Statement Date to view all recorded statement dates.
If the latest date on this report doesn't match the last reconciled date on the Reconcile Accounts window, it indicates an issue with the report. To correct this:
- Take a backup of your file.
- Go to Banking > Reconcile Accounts.
- Enter a fake date after the latest statement date (e.g., 01/08/2024). Ignore any messages about future-dated transactions.
- Enter the Calculated Statement Balance into the Closing Statement Balance field to balance at $0.00.
- Click the Reconcile button. This should allow you to undo the 'fake' reconciliation and any future-dated transactions, making the transactions available for reconciliation again.
Please do let us know how you go on this.
Regards,
Earl
