Bank Feeds

Can anyone tell me why after years and years of using MYOB software our bank feed has been disconnected and I have had to resubmit all information and now its "processing". Why was the feed cut off. No details have changed at all since commencement of using the software. Extremely unhappy that this disruption has occurred without warning.

 

Also the new home screen for invoices is an abomination. Why do we need to click that we arent interested in invoice reminders every time we land on that screen even if thats 30 times a day. Its also garbage to view invoices only being able to see 5-6 invoices at a time with all this big open useless space and the invoice reminder taking up the majority of the page. Whoever dreams up these updates obviously never actually use the software!

    Hi HEATHZ,

     

    Sorry you’ve had this happen, especially after using bank feeds for so long. I completely get how disruptive that would be when you rely on it every day. Even if nothing has changed on your side, feeds can be cut off if the bank or the feed provider changes how they connect, or if the underlying authority expires and needs to be re‑authorised for security/compliance reasons. When that happens, we’re required to stop the feed until a fresh authority is in place, which is why you’ve been asked to resubmit the details. The “Processing” status just means your new bank feed application is being worked through. You shouldn’t need to do anything else right now, but if it sits in processing longer than expected, it’s worth reaching out to our support team so we can check what’s holding it up on the bank‑feed side. 

     

    On the new Invoices home screen/smart invoice reminders banner, you’re not the only one calling this out. At the moment there isn’t a built‑in way to permanently turn that banner off, which is why you’re seeing it every time you land on the page, and I agree that’s not ideal when you’re in there dozens of times a day. Someone’s already logged an idea for an option to turn those banners off and clean the screen up. You can add your vote and comments here so it’s on the product team’s radar and gets more visibility: Get rid of annoying banners | MYOB Community.

    so why would it not be communicated that this was required? All the money that everyone pays and there is zero notification for something critical like this that takes so long to reinstate

    my bank is saying the feed is connected why is no one responding and actually helping on these forums
