MYOB have finally responded to the outcry, and they say they are working on fixing it.

    They also said this:

"We’re investigating an issue with the Bankfeed allocation service; in the meantime, you can manually match transactions as a workaround."

What it means for many of us is that you will need to manually CREATE a Spend Money or Receive Money transaction in the Banking section, selecting the appropriate account/category, and ensure it exactly matches the bank feed transaction amount and date, then you can go back to bank feeds and match the transaction to the one you manually created. This worked for me last night, but I was very glad I only had two of them to do!

It's a HUGE time-suck for all of us, so fingers crossed they fix it soon!

    Hi Everyone,

Thanks for your patience while this was being looked into. We know it can slow things down when you're just trying to get your bank feeds allocated. The good news is this issue has now been resolved. The "something went wrong" error should no longer appear, and you should be able to allocate transactions as normal again. If you do notice anything still not behaving as expected, a quick refresh or re-login usually helps.

    Regards,

    Sai

I reported this issue after wasting three hours trying work arounds on three laptops, different browsers, +++++ with an another colleague logging in on Saturday morning to try to resolve in preparation for meetings on Sunday afternoon. No reports produced.

Still not response to my support ticket raised on Saturday - guess they just expected folks to keep trying until the changes someone deployed on Friday Night / Saturday morning were backed out or fixed. Treating customers with contempt. Do you have quality assurance testing????

  • yep same error message when I am trying to match to existing record - matching payroll payment...  Hoping someone answers these queries soon...
