by allcate all payroll payment to 1-3000 Electronic Clearing Account
now my report is all good
I have this problem also. I have 2 companies. In the first company the salary payment bank transactions automatically match to the payroll items but in the second company it will not do this.
Seems like an error in MYOB and manually matching as suggested here is a cop-out. I should not have to do this.

You’re spot on that salary payments should match up automatically, but in MYOB it all comes down to a particular setting, nothing dodgy or broken with the system. Here's what you can do for your second company to auto match the transactions:
Once that’s done, payroll payments should line up automatically, no more manual wrangling needed.

Where is "Setup" found?
