I had a similar time wasting experience sadly, when the MYOB backend team were as yet unaware as to why my dashboard disappeared and they had me and my boss as the administrator, unlinking and relinking to me to our business in MYOB and trying and retrying different access permissions for hours, until someone recognised it was the fault of the latest update and therefore told me there was nothing to be done. A little frustrating I think for all involved, MYOB employees included.
