Dashboard on the web browser

My main concern is with the GST tile on the dashboard. I have been told that it only registers information from the GST account codes from Purchases and Sales. General Journal entries are not recognised. This makes my GST tile grossly incorrect. If it is not possible to have the correct figures on this tile, I would like the tile removed. I have also been told that it is not possible to have it removed.. As a Bookkeeper I find it frustrating that the Director of the business cannot see accurate information on the Dashboard.

    Hi Michele26,

     

    I can see why you’d want the GST tile fixed or removed, especially when your director relies on the dashboard to see how things are tracking.

     

    The tile uses your GST account balances and reporting settings. A different reporting period or a balance carried forward can cause the figures to differ, so it doesn’t necessarily mean journal entries are being left out. For the correct figure for the period you’re checking, use the GST Report rather than the tile.

     

    There’s currently no way to remove just the GST tile. Our Dashboard guide explains the settings you can change. If you would like the option for more customization on the dashboard, I recommend posting the idea on the Ideas Exchange board so other users could vote on it.
