Transitioning offline + online AR Premier Company files to Business Lite

Hi

We have 3 online Company files that MYOB setup under our main AR Premier banner and it is costing us a fortune, so we would like to transfer these files to Business Lite as we do not need all the bells and whistles that AR Premier offers.

Do we need to waiting until 30 June when the subscription is completed for that period or can we move now and transfer those credits over to Business Lite now?

If so, how do we go about this?

We also have one offline Company file that we wish to transfer over to Business Lite online.

Again, how do we go about this?

Thank you for listening

    Hi dieseldigit, ,

Thanks for the update, and I’m glad to hear the Business Lite subscription for the offline file has been set up and the migration form has already been submitted.

For the 3 online AccountRight files, I can’t confirm from the Community side whether the existing login email is what’s stopping the purchase. In some cases, it can be related to how the MYOB login is linked on the account rather than the company files themselves.

A good first step is to sign in to My Account using that same email address and try the purchase there. If it still won’t go through, the next step would be to submit a support request through My Account or connect with live chat through MOCA , our virtual assistant, so the team can check the account setup and subscription linkage for those files.

Once the new MYOB Business Lite subscriptions are active, you can then move ahead with the migration request for each file.

    Regards,
    Genreve

    Hi dieseldigit,

You’re absolutely fine to ask.  Yes, recurring transactions can still exist in MYOB Business Lite after the migration. The only thing to keep in mind is that they won’t automatically record in the browser if they were originally set to remind a user or to automatically record when due. For those ones, you’ll just need to delete and re-enter them in the new file, as the alert option isn’t available in MYOB Business yet.

    Cheers,

    Princess

Genreve_S Thank you for your help.
Not sure if you are the correct person to ask these further questions, please let me know if you are not.

Those recurring transactions we currently have all setup in our online Company Files under our AR Premier + Payroll banner that we are looking to change over to MYOB Business Lite, all these recurring transactions are currently all working fine on the Desktop and Web Platform - When the migration takes place though, will the recurring transactions remain accessible on the new MYOB Business Lite subscription for Web Platform?

    Hi Noddysfriend,

Thanks for reaching out. Sorry this took a little longer than usual while we worked through a higher volume of requests, but it has now been completed. I’ve checked your case, and your migration is now done. You should also have received an email from John with confirmation and a few more details.

    Cheers,

    Princess

I have been waiting 7 business days for an MMC migration of an Accountright file to MYOB business. Does anyone know how long these are actually taking. (The notes suggest 3-5 business days). My business has been effectively locked out from recording any transactions for almost 2 weeks.

    Hi dieseldigit

Moving three files to MYOB Business can certainly be simpler if there is a guide you can follow. You dont necessarily need to wait for June 30 for you to move your file. You can fill out the Right Size form here: MYOB Right Size.

Just make sure you have an active MYOB Business subscription for the file to be moved into first. Once the file has been successfully moved across, you can then cancel the old AccountRight files.

If you have both online and offline files to move, I’d recommend making sure each file is confirmed in MYOB Business before cancelling anything on the AccountRight side.
