ATO STP BMS Notification: Confirmation from ATO that BMS has been transferred

Setting up ATO STP as part of onboarding to MYOB.

There is a requirement to notify ATO that the BMS ID from previous software is no longer in use.

How do you do that?

How do you confirm that the notification has been sent?

If you wish to report that you are using different software for payroll reporting and need to report a previous BMS ID, you can go to Payroll > Single Touch Payroll Reporting > ATO settings and then scroll down > Select Edit STP business details. Fill out the necessary details until you reach the transfer of BMS ID. To check if it has been sent to the ATO, you can contact them after 72 hours from the time you've finished the onboarding. You may also check out the Help Article: Setting up Single Touch Payroll reporting for more detailed steps.
