Thanks for sharing the detail and the screenshot, it really helps. A few quick things you can test that often clear the “Something went wrong. Please try again or refresh the browser” error when recording a pay run:
Split the pay run into smaller batches
- Run the pay in smaller groups of employees to see if it records. This helps pinpoint if one employee or pay item is causing the issue.
Check the employees and pay items in that pay run
- Open each affected employee card, especially Payroll details and Leave.
- Look for blank required fields or any odd characters and fix/remove them.
- On the Leave tab, click Save even if you don’t change anything, to refresh the background data.
Try again in a different browser/incognito
- Re-run the pay in a different browser or an incognito/private window after those checks.
