IRD filing
Why does my last payroll (payment 30 September) not show at the IRD? The payroll was processed in the normal way.

To fix this, you can add an employee as a new employee and then reprocess the pay. If there is a recorded pay in your system from the old record, you'll need to delete it to avoid duplication.

Sorry I don't understand. Do you mean create the pay run again and re-file with IRD?
How do you delete the old pay run??
And more importantly, why did the IRD filing process fail? Does this happen often? If I need to check that the filing has been successful each time, what is the advantage of "automatic" filing?

There are multiple possible reasons why some pay runs aren't recognized by the IRD. I recommend checking the payday filing window to check on individual pay runs and see the status/errors based on this guide.
