MYOB SUPERANUATION PAYMENTS

I am trying to set up myob super payments in MYOB Business. When I click on pay super to set it up it goes straight to a screen that wants a verification code from a 1c deposit to the bank. How do set up the details without that code

    Hi Cassa61, 

     

    It’d definitely be handy if you could set up Pay Super without the 1c verification, but that step’s there for security, so there’s no way to skip it.

    If you haven’t actually finished and submitted the Pay Super registration yet, jump back into Payroll > Super payments, work through all the setup steps (including your bank details), and submit it. Once that’s done, MYOB will send a $0.01 test deposit to your bank account. Just grab the 6‑digit code from the transaction description and pop it into the verification screen.

    I'm not sure what to do next, I got the 1 cent and code from bank but how do I get back in to MYOB to certify! Where does the super payment go to, my nominated Super account (Aust Super) or does it go to a 3rd party! Would really like to know who gets the payment! and is there any charges that goes with it or does a 3rd party profit from this! The lack of info is worry some. Am i still allowed to do it separately and pay owe own super! I do not have MYOB set up for payroll as I do not want other party involved in our payroll. Can some one please fill me in to where to go online to set up this 1 cent code

    Hi Con1dor,

     

    Fair enough, anyone would feel a bit uneasy without enough information to verify things properly. There aren’t any extra fees or charges passed on to you, as the Pay Super service is included with your subscription. Once you’ve received the 1 cent deposit and code, just head back to Payroll > Super payments in MYOB. When prompted, enter the code from the 1 cent deposit reference to verify the bank account and finish the setup. 

     

    When you authorise a Pay Super batch, the payment is direct debited from your nominated bank account and then sent through to the employee’s nominated super fund.
