Yes, I did choose the correct payroll year 2023/24 when running the YTD verification report, and all numbers for other employees reconcile with the payroll report except the employee I paid using the pay item I created that shows zero gross payment but correct withholding tax.

I understand that you're having an issue with your YTD verification report. If your pay item isn't showing up on your YTD verification report, it's a good idea to give it a once-over to make sure everything's set up right and it's not marked as exempt by mistake. Next, have a look at your payroll register and ad activity report. If they're matching up, you just need to send an update event.
