Setting up Pay super

I have an employee with a smsf.  I have set up pay super and signed in but I am unable to edit the smsf.  This message appears.  I set up pay super some months ago but had trouble getting all the information required.  I am now having another go.  I have not used it yet.  What does this mean.  I have myob on the browser and have been using stp for years and super through the super clearing house

Before you can record a super payment that includes a self-managed super fund (SMSF), your Single Touch Payroll (STP) reports must be successfully accepted by the ATO

  • Hi Elisem,

Thanks for sharing the exact message you’re seeing. It’s basically a compliance check to make sure SMSF payments only come from verified employers. Before MYOB lets you set up and pay SMSF through Pay Super, you’ll need to have your STP set up first. Give this link a quick look, it breaks everything down in easy steps so you can get set up fast.

    Cheers,
