SICK LEAVE ACCRUALS

Thanks for sharing what you’ve noticed. I can see why this would be confusing, and checking every employee’s report individually isn’t ideal.

The most likely cause is a change to the leave pay item setup. Rather than reviewing each employee, I’d recommend checking the shared leave pay item’s calculation basis, any exemptions that have been added, and the standard hours. thank you for your feedback. I've checked these setups and nothing looks out of the ordinary. They've been assigned as per initial set up. I've pulled all my notes from 25/5/23 and looks like i discussed this already with Celia_B. for reference these have been assigned as follows:

Payroll Category

Sick Pay - Hourly - Gross Payments

Holiday Pay - Hourly - Gross Payments

Entitlements for both holiday and sick

Part-time - percentage

Salary - percentage

Accural - percentage

Entitlements Information for both holiday and sick

Sick equals - 2.923% - Gross Hours

Holiday equals - 7.6923% - Gross Hours

on a 76hr fortnight - for both salary and hourly wages

holiday accrual is at a rate of 5.846

sick accrual us at a rate if 2.221

prior to this STP update it was 5.846 and 2.923

as far as discussing over the phone, i'm not in a private location in the office but do have TeamViewer.
