Splitting Superannuation Payments between two funds for the one employee in MYOB Business Lite

I have a very small business and have been using the Small Business Superannuation Clearing House (SBSCH)for super payments as it allows me to be flexible with payment of super (both SGC and salary sacrifice) between multiple superannuation accounts for the one employee  - and it was a simple process.  I have one employee who needs to split SGC payments between two funds and one employee who sometimes pays salary sacrifice payments to one fund and SGC to another. I have delayed changing over to MYOB Superstream as I was aware that the system does not support payment to two Superannuation funds for a single employee.

However with the pending closure of the SBSCH and the new payday super requirements from July, I am unsure how I am going to be able to manage my superannuation requirements for these employees moving forward. Does anyone know if this issue has been rectified on MYOB Business Lite? Or if there are any plans to do so? Or is there a work around? Thanks

    Hi KJJ21

Those two employees with split superannuation will definitely need to be set differently.

At the moment, this hasn’t been added still in MYOB Business, so it still doesn’t support splitting one employee’s super across two funds in a single payment.

As a workaround, you’d need to process that employee’s split super outside your software and then record it manually in the file afterwards.
