Is there a way to prevent "Payroll > Employees > Payroll details > Standard pay" from auto-populating "Standard pay"? The auto-populating is a real nuisance. We should have a choice to activate or deactivate this feature.

Thanks for your feedback, I can see how having an option to turn off autopopulate on standard pay would be useful.
There’s currently no option to turn off auto-population from Standard Pay. The software is designed to populate the pay run using the values saved in the employee’s Standard Pay.
The workaround is to go to Payroll > Employees > open the employee > Payroll details > Standard Pay and set any unwanted values to 0, then save.
