super payments processing

Hi, I submitted a super payment for my employee on 21/12.

It still says that the payment is processing.

How long does it normally take for the payment to go through?

Thanks

  • Hi dgooneratne,

Super payments usually take about four business days to get authorised, processed, and received by the super funds. But sometimes, there can be a few hiccups, like if payments get rejected due to data errors. So, it's a good idea to allow up to 10 business days for everything to go through smoothly. For more details, check out this link.

If your payment is still in processing after 10 business days, it's best to reach out to our support team directly using one of the various support options here.

    Cheers,

    Hi

I am trying to process the super payment for last quarter. One of the employee has self managed fund. I have added all the details and it is recorded. However, when I am trying to pay it is asking for SPIN / USI needed for this fund and its not processing the same. There is no SPIN / USI for self managed super fund. How do I solve this?

    Hi gnatara1

It looks like this employee’s super fund isn’t actually set up as self‑managed in MYOB.
When the system asks for a SPIN/USI, that usually means the fund has been created or linked as a Standard/APRA fund, not an SMSF. A Standard fund must have a USI, but an SMSF doesn’t.

Can you please double‑check the setup:

    • Go to Settings (cog) > Payroll settings > Superannuation funds and make sure the fund is created as Self self-managed super fund (SMSF), not Standard/APRA.
    • Then open the employee in Payroll > Employees, go to Payroll details > Superannuation, and make sure they’re linked to that SMSF version of the fund.

If you’ve just fixed the setup, you may need to rebuild and reprocess the super payment so it picks up the new fund settings.

    Regards,

    Genreve

    Hi Genreve

I did this set up twice so to make sure I selected self manged super. Still the same error appears. Not sure why.

    Hi gnatara1,

Thanks for giving that another go and appreciate you double-checking the setup. If the error's still popping up even after selecting self-managed super, it's likely something sitting behind the scenes that needs a closer look. Best bet from here is to jump onto our live chat support through our virtual assistant, MOCA, or submit a case via My Account. The team there can dig into the details and help get it sorted for you.

    Regards,
