Why does it take so long for MYOB to process Super Payments ? ie 4-6 days

    Hi Genreve,

Thanks for your response. I checked this morning when I saw your response, and they are now showing as processed.

    Thanks

    Steve

    Hi SGW

If those payments from 19/06 are still showing as Processing, that’s definitely longer than expected.

A couple of quick things to check first:

    • the batch hasn’t been deleted or recreated in Pay Super
    • the payment hasn’t been rejected and returned in the Pay Super area
    • the bank account for that batch was successfully debited

If all of that looks right and it’s still sitting in Processing, don't hesitate to get in touch with our support team so they can investigate the payment directly. Because it’s well outside the usual clearing window, they’ll need to review the transaction status from their side and confirm what’s holding it up. You can reach out by creating a ticket in My Account or connecting with our live chat team through MOCA, our virtual assistant.

    Regards,
    Genreve

It appears to be even longer now. I have payments from 19/06 still showing as processing.

    Hi Allwest,

Totally get why this feels slow – especially when you’re trying to make sure super hits the fund on time.

When you use Pay Super, the money doesn’t go straight from your bank to the super fund – it first goes through a clearing house (SuperChoice). The usual flow is:

    • Day 0–1: you authorise the batch in MYOB and the direct debit is started
    • Day 2–4: standard 3‑day banking clearance window to protect against dishonours
    • Day 4–7: once cleared, the **clearing house sends the money on to each super fund**, and the fund then allocates it to member accounts

That’s why you’ll often see about 3–5 business days, and in practice it can look like 4–6 days once you factor in weekends and public holidays. MYOB and our clearing house provider recommend allowing up to 7 business days (and in some help we even say 7–10 days) for everything to fully clear and show in the super funds.

    I hope this helps!

    Regards,
    Earl
