Transactions won't allocate from 30/4

I processed a weekly pay (as per usual) on the last day of the month (30/4) and now 2 transactions are permanently showing as "unallocated" - both are from this pay run. One is the Wages and one is the Super. When I try to allocate them, I am only given transactions from May to allocate against. This has never happened before.

All transactions I processed on the 30/4 were originally unallocated but I basically deleted them and re-started so the only two left are the wages and super. I obviously can't delete these as they have gone through to the ATO.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a MYOB issue or have I done something wrong?

    Hi Sai,

I submitted a case via My Account yesterday (as well as doing this post on the forum). I'm still awaiting a response...

    But thanks for your help.

    Hi SarahKP,

Thanks for checking all of that and for sticking with it. Because the bank feed and super payment are tied directly to your fund and we don’t want to reverse anything unnecessarily, the best next step is to get this looked at by our support team so they can jump into your file and see what’s blocking those April transactions from matching. You can reach out to our live chat support through our virtual assistant, MOCA, or submit a case via My Account, and they’ll be able to run through this with you one-on-one and sort it out.

    Regards,

    Sai

  • Hi Doreen,

Thanks for your suggestion but there's no date mismatch. The transactions I did through MYOB are dated the 30/4 (that's the Pay Run and the Super payment/"pay superannuation") and the matching deductions from the bank account (that currently show as unallocated) are also dated the 30/4. When I try to allocate them to each other (as I have done every other month) the only options that are given to me are unallocated transactions from May. It's as though MYOB doesn't realise there are unallocated transactions in April.

I really don't want to reverse these transactions - especially the Super payment as this is directly attached to the Super fund (and the funds are automatically deducted from the bank account).

    Hi SarahKP,

It sounds like a date mismatch rather than something you’ve done wrong. Those 30/4 bank feed lines are trying to match to transactions dated 30/4, but your wage and super payments are likely dated in May, so only May entries show up to match. If the dates don’t line up, you’ll need to reverse and re-process that pay run so the payment date matches 30/4, then the bank feed will let you match them properly. You can follow the steps in the fixing a pay run link to do this.

    Cheers,

    Doreen
