Including superannuation on a client invoice

I have 'workers' who have been deemed employees for the purposes of superannuation only and as a result, I need to include their 12% SG on my invoices to clients.

I'm swapping from another software provider and was using the 'Superannuation Liability' GL account, but I'm unsure what the equivalent is in MYOB.

Could someone please advise?

Many thanks

    Hey PrimalDee,

The best move here is to check in with your accountant first on how to record that super payment on the invoice. They’ll make sure it’s set up correctly for your situation. Once you’ve got their advice, we can jump in and help you get everything sorted from there.

    Cheers,

Thanks Doreen_P but I don't need to confirm anything with my accountant - I've already confirmed it with the ATO and I need to include the payment on the invoice.

If you could please just tell me if the QBO vs MYOB Super Liability account is the same.

      Thanks

        Hi PrimalDee,

Yes, they’re the same in purpose. In both QBO and MYOB, the Super Liability account is a liability account that holds super you owe but haven’t paid yet.

        Cheers,

        Doreen
