Online payments surcharge invoice line item

I need the online payment surcharge to appear on the customer's invoice it has been applied to. What is the correct way to do this and what GL code should I apply to the surcharge?

Celia_B how are you going with the solution to this issue please, I need the proper procedure in place immediately so I may issue invoices correctly.

Whats happening regarding my issue Celia_B? 3 weeks and no responce... I require this issue to be resolved as customers are still asking me for correct invoices to match the total they have been charged so they can complete their bookkeeping. Surely it isn't that hard!?
