Recurring invoice reminder can't be set to other user

Hi team,

I have now ran into the issue that the invoice reminder can't be set to other user.

It is set to remind admin by default. I have chosen our accountant's user, and clicked ok to save it.

however, when I reopen the invoice's schedule setting, the alerts function is still showing remind "admin"

I have tried close MYOB, reopen, refresh, none of them worked.

Please help.

Thank you

  • Hi team,

    Thank you for your help.

I have tried recreate new recurring transactions and setting our accountant as the person to remind. However, when I reopen it still shows "admin"

we have found if we open up myob using accountant's login, then all recurring transaction reminder will show accountant's name, regardless if the reminder was set to her or not.

so it appears that this section will show the current user's name regardless who it was set to remind.

I understand it's a bug and there is no work around for now.

Hope MYOB can fix this small issue in the next update.

    Thanks

    Hi lbf200n

Thanks for letting us know. This is a known display issue where the reminder may show “Admin” again after you reopen the schedule, even after selecting another user. There is currently no workaround; the only option is to recreate the recurring transaction and select the user who should receive the notifications.

The reminder should still be sent to the user you selected. Please check whether it appears in the accountant’s reminders when the invoice is due.
