MYOB is definitely in la la land.
MYOB bullying/forcing customers by locking Invoice emailing function (that was part of subscription) to do 'verification' using safety as excuse. In fact they want payments transaction to go through their system hence they can collect 2% + of all payments. Big money is in the game! Not bad idea/excuse to rip of hard earn money from their subscribers.
Due to cost of living majority businesses hardly keeping head above water. Victoria has recorded the largest increase in business insolvencies in Australia, with a 71 per cent rise compared to a yea ago. Some of those businesses existed for decades. We must watch every single penny. Running business is harder than ever.
But as you say MYOB is not a BANK nor our money is deposited at MYOB. .
Customer who are not happy with MYOB 'verification' reason they need to report MYOB to ACCC. I am sure 'VERIFICATION' safety reason will end up with class action. Hope they have good lawyers.
