We have used MYOB when you loaded it from a disk and have changed and upgraded versions over the years to this latest version. I will not be upgrading this time. MYOB have increased their subscription to $150 per month as well as having a banner showing me how many days I have until I will no longer be able to send invoices with MYOB.
For the same type of functionality I am switching to XERO for $90 per month, with a six month offer of $9 per month to sign up before the end of February. The frustration of having to learn a new system and possibly not having the bells and whistles of MYOB for me outweigh the benefits of staying. My attempts to contact MYOB have gone unanswered and so I will take my business elsewhere, which will make my accountant very happy.
